Training
Delta offers technical training services in our specific areas of core competency. We can provide course Development as well as Delivery. Typical users of these services fall into two main categories:
- End User Support Staff. The goal of this offering is to provide our customer’s support staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to support their own network on an ongoing basis. This course would be both custom developed and delivered by Delta.
It would certainly include all requisite background technology, but have a very strong emphasis on the customer’s specific topology, products, actual configuration and practical support requirements. CLI and GUI configuration commands for specific hardware would be covered, as well as recommended backup and disaster recovery plans, upgrade/downgrade procedures, adds/moves/changes methods and more. Typically this offering is selected by our customers as a project deliverable. Class duration depends on content, but is normally 3 to 5 days in length.
- Hardware Manufacturers. Most mature manufacturers already have in-house or outsourced training organizations. Our offering is targeted at, and most attractive to, startups. Startups, rightfully so, are generally focused on product and channel development. Delta can provide these companies with a professional, cost-effective method of developing and delivering vital training services early in the process. These services are essential to establishing user competence and channel confidence, each of which reduces the burden on the manufacture’s support and pre-sales SE staff and free more resources for sales and development.
Delta can provide, with the manufacturer’s input, course development from ground zero and deliver it. We can also take a manufacturer-developed course and simply deliver it to the target audience.
Sanitized examples of our previous work are available upon request.
